A little something for the diesel fans.
Shot this today at my university, as I had to fetch a book from the library. If already there for one lousy book, I made use of the time by shooting some trains at the freight line that runs past our campus. If you want to see all photos:

The photo I thought was interesting enough to put on DA was this one, as I never expected to see such a loco on a freight line. What we have here is a classic Bundesbahn V200 diesel, iconic for its time, thanks to the striking industrial design and fitting livery. This smoke belching specimen from 1964 is owned by the EfW-Verkehrsgesellschaft, a private company with a small but nice collection of old diesel locomotives. Ah, the old days. I have a note of 220 083-0 passing us at Rheine in 1975. I shall have to look through my photos to see if I took one. Not sure that I did.
