Customer is King

After parking your car and entering the Audi Forum [link] , you are immediately greeted by employees who eagerly want to make your day perfect. There even is a timetable for what to enjoy at what time, we started off by getting the paperwork done, presenting the car's registration, giving them our plates [link] .

First stop: The Restaurant: [link]

If you fetch your car here, you don't only save around 300€ but are entitled to a free meal. And it was certainly a classy one... Starting off with the alcohol free cocktail we see here, we had a coconut-chilli soup (very interesting combination), followed by a zander filet with a potato & cucumber salad, rounded off by dessert, stewed cherries, a raisin cake and crème brûlée.

Yum!

After that, we were taken to our new car, normally also accompanied by technical instructions. But as I drove half a dozen A3s in the past few years, and my mom being part time Audi employee, they pretty soon saw that we knew how to handle it.

With the car taken care of, we took a tour through the factory. Amazing to see all those robots at work, but the most impressive sight was that of the body press. Of course, photography was strictly forbidden, especially now, as the new A7 is currently being made there. Who knows, maybe we saw an unfinished one without even realizing it.
