Any special reason to be with the front pantograph lifted and not the rear one?
When towing locomotives, cab cars, or hazardous/sensitive goods, the front pantograph is raised to prevent sparks from landing on the loco's/cab car's windscreen or the hazardous/sensitive goods. In this case, there are tank cars behind the locomotive.
Nice shot, love the shade, the sunlight, and the trees. Subject looks good too.
NOW I have a better idea of what German freight trains look like. lol.
