Double Trouble

Spent the last two days in Erlangen to attend a small conference, arriving and departing by train of course. I had to change trains at Nürnberg Central Station, using the 50 Minute layover to take some photos. Was quite surprised to see classic S-Bahn trains with class 143 electrics and x-type cars still in service here! I used to see them every day near my home, having taken a shitload of photos while they were still in service. These days, you usually only see modern EMUs, so it was a refreshing sight to catch these in service elsewhere.

Thought I'd line the photo up with the lower platform edge, as I've done it once before. Less satisfied with this one, but hey, at least it's not a completely boring standard shot!

I do quite like the historic station building as a backdrop though.
