Filthy Brute

There's a distinct lack of second generation ICE trains in my gallery. The shots that I do have are either to show the dirt on their front, or broken coupler doors, or the weather.



This shot however just shows a nondescript second gen, with an average amount of dirt, in dreary but not quite epic weather. I kinda like it for some reason, the slightly low angle making it seem powerful and fast (which it is). I guess my disinterest towards this train lies in the fact that it's basically like a first gen one, chopped in half, with a slightly different front. And many people think that the interior doesn't really do the ICE brand enough justice. But since my last ride in an ICE is seven years into the past, I can't really speak from experience. You should ask Torsten on that one.
