Flying

I decided to submit some older shots, to get a better feel for what will recieve positive feedback and what not. You probably know the feeling of finding something awesome, while everyone else ignores it, and thinking something isn't worth showing, and then you get bombarded with faves when you upload it.

This pic was a candidate for uploading for quite some time, and I always discarded my crops as not worthwhile. Thanks to some advice from Bob, I think I found a better way of cropping it. I liked how the engine and the driver came out sharp, so I thought it might be worth putting up on DA.

Shot this back at the Müngstener Brückenfest. After Torsten and me rode one of the steam trains, I went back home to get my tripod. Upon my return, we could shoot the other train as it departed, before we set off to the actual bridge. I thought the diesel engines on the ends of both trains were there for the purpose of easy reversing, or in case the steamers broke down. However, as the train departed, you could clearly hear that this locomotive was working as well, helping the steamer along. This was on the train's other end:
