After having flashed his lights from a distance, the driver of 103 235 greets me with a raised hand, as the ten thousand hp machine coasts into Duisburg Central. I guess he was amazed that there was some crazy fool with a camera, ready to pay homage to the Queen on German rails, despite thick clouds and strong winds.

Sorry for shooting the same loco in the same bleak surrounding, but I had to attend a compulsory safety briefing for next semester's advanced lab course, leaving me no time to find other photo spots. Besides, in case I haven't ever mentioned it till now, I just adore the 103, and never really get bored of shooting the same two engines over and over again.

Jo ich bin auch schon gespannt wie die reagieren, bei uns ist in manchen Einkaufszentren das fotografieren kritisch, wenn man dann aber mit den Securitys plaudert ....
Ich bin auch "seltsam" in manchen Augen weil ich Airsoft mag, einen V8 fahre oder mein Geld für Fotoequipment ausgebe. Jeder hat andere Interessen und das ist auch gut so.
