Icarus II Icarus Awakening of the City I have the feeling that nobody really cares about this theme, but I find the sun reflecting off the sound barrier deeply fascinating for some reason. I was a bit late here, I think Icarus II was captured at just the right moment, with the sun not yet visible from the ground, but the elevated Freeway being high enough to capture and reflect some of it's warm yellow light. To me, this sight is like a hidden gem, as one can only see these reflections early in the morning, when the sun is still low. |
