It's a Sony. Says so right there on that lousy sticker.

Tape deck of my compact FH-5 HiFi tower, which is about one year older than I am. We've had several other, newer HiFi towers since then, which all somehow broke and required repairs, most troublesome part apparently being the CD player. Well, this thing doesn't have a CD player, but a built in phono preamp, so I can hook it right up to my turntable. No, it doesn't have a remote, you actually have to walk up to it and press those metallic buttons to switch between tape, tuner, phono and aux. I even have a really long cable hooked up to the auxiliary input, so I can plug it into my lappy for some decent internet radio. You know, the kind that ignore the charts and play only Rock. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Dats how I roll.

However, the auto reverse doesn't always work, you have to reach in there with your finger and rotate the head sometimes. Also, the flap is kinda broken, so if you just push eject, it will be flung off the tape deck. Oh, and you shouldn't ever press pause, as it will start eating your precious tape without mercy. I don't use the tape deck very much, but sometimes, I'm in the mood for some oldschool way of listening.

I'm a bit busy with exams and stuff now, passed one exam today, and completed all three advanced experiments we were allowed to do during the "holidays". Two more exams to go, namely maths and quantum mechanics. Bleh.
