Description
After shooting enough material for my previous pic, I thought I'd use the low sun to shoot some passing trains, though there were fewer trains running than normal due to the national holiday. Still, I caught this ever so typical and ever so boring S-Bahn train, composed of a class 143 and lightweight x-type carriages. Despite being boring, it looks really neat as the side is lit by the sun like this A bit ironic that I'm shooting an engine built in the former GDR on the day of its collapse
Still, even though I'm not a fan of this engine, I think it doesn't look as bad as I always thought it does, especially after I took this shot some weeks before.
I also caugt some ICE trains, a RegionalExpress and two special trains, though both times I was standing on a bridge. One of them was an unusual sight for me, as it was pulled by a Siemens ER 20 diesel engine. I think this is the first time I saw a diesel on this line... However, the engine looks very much like a typical modern electric without the pantographs, so I don't suppose it's worth uploading.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed shooting it... at 4°C

This is nice! Usually, powerlines and signals are just clutter, but here they give a great perspective.
