Slowly but surely, the plasma chamber for my bachelor thesis is nearing completion.
We've added the copper coil you see here today, which will create a strong alternating electric field, enabling us to ignite a gas plasma within the glass tube. The rods above and below protect the fragile part, with two more to be added on the left and right of the tube. We've also set up parts of the electric equipment that will power all of this, and tomorrow, we may have our very first ignition.
