Wishing you all a happy new year from Switzerland, where my ski trip is nearing its end.

This was the view that greeted me on the first day of 2013, looking out the window of our hotel room. Sadly though, my new year was also marred by the behaviour of a certain family member, so I'm still not in the best mood right now. But there were some things that did brighten my day, such as a British family who skied in costumes (pic coming soon) as well as reading about a pic of mine making it into the TRFN Top 50:

Was quite certain that I would not make it this year, but submitting a standard steam shot apparently gets you plenty of attention.
