Another photo from last summer's USA trip.
Subtle HDR, merged from a set of five shots.
This was taken in the Valley of Fire State Park of Nevada, on the fourth day of our visit. And yes, we had sizzling +100°F heat, but it didn't really bother me, being the dry, windy heat of the desert. I really enjoyed the vastness of it all, the contrast between the wide open plains and the enclosed spaces within rock formations. Sadly though, my shoes didn't like it as much as I did, disintegrating towards the end of the day.
