Do I ever get bored of shooting a 103 almost every day? Nope. Should I look for new photo spots? Yep. Will I? Dunno... I come home around five or six, not giving me much time for extended tours to faraway spots. But I assume that you guys are not (yet) annoyed by the sudden influx of 103 pics. After all, I went without those for months on end! High time to photograph this beauty as often as possible, you never know when they might decide to stop using her. And unexpected defects could occur at any moment. Back in their day, the 103 had the single highest mileage of any German locomotive class, which meant that they were completely worn out by the end of their career. It's a small wonder that we still have a few of these that are still active, hauling not only nostalgia trains but regular ones as well. At the moment, you can spot 103 235 here almost every day, hauling InterCity 119 in the morning and 118 in the evening. Extra interesting due to the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) rolling stock used on this route.
