Spring has Arrived

Finally, sunshine, snow gone, temperatures above zero!

Went on a spontaneous tour while traveling home from university, which as usual means me getting off in Düsseldorf to shoot some trains. Here we have the north-eastern exit of the station, with two S-Bahn trains on the steep ramp of the rails that will turn east, while those running on northwards go through underneath. Here's a bird's eye view of the ramp, with me standing almost half a kilometer away on one of the platforms! Gotta love my tele...

I quite liked the perspective on this one, and the rolling stock too, a Bombardier Talent DMU and a class 143 electric from the former GDR.
