Description
Thought I might upload some more photos from my USA trip.
This is heritage streetcar No. 1075, painted to honor the Cleveland Transit System, which ran PCC streetcars from 1946 to 1953. Short time, huh? Well, the history behind it can be found here, if you're interested. The car itself was originally built for the Twin City Rapid Transit Co. of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, in 1946.
I quite liked this shot for the light/dark contrast of the lit tram and the shady street, as the only light I had was that coming through the gap in the buildings at an intersection. Liked the livery too, as well as the trolley bus behind it, making it seem as if the streetcar had two trolley poles!
